Copyright and Removal Requests

Last updated: October 2, 2026

The Famous File respects the rights of creators and the privacy of the people we write about. This page explains how to ask for content to be credited, corrected or removed.

Copyright notices (DMCA)

If you believe content on this site, such as a photo, infringes your copyright, send a notice to ayzalinayat3838@gmail.com with:

  1. Your name, address, phone number and email.
  2. A description of the work you own.
  3. The exact page links on our site where it appears.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We usually act on complete notices within 3 working days, by removing the content or adding the credit you ask for.

Counter notices

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you can send a counter notice to the same email with your details, the removed content, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake.

Requests from people we write about

If you are featured on the site, or represent someone who is, you can ask us to:

  • Correct a wrong fact
  • Remove private details, such as an address or information about a child
  • Remove a photo you own or that shows private life
  • Claim a verified profile with your official links

We review every request. We correct errors and remove private information. We may keep accurate, public and newsworthy facts about public figures, as any encyclopedia would.

How to send a request

Use our Contact Us page and choose “Copyright or removal request”, or email ayzalinayat3838@gmail.com. Include the page link so we can act quickly.
